Well, if you do you should visit the once around Bogotá. The thematic parks are for having fun with family and friends going through all the attractions. Bogotá has 2 thematic parks that are the most known:

Salitre Mágico:

This park is all about fun for all ages, for little kids and the adults as well. People in here could spend hours and hours of fun, even if weather doesn’t go well Salitre Mágico has a covered part were you can play games for wining prices. The attractions are for all ages: some are for little kids like the Mini Jet or the Gusano Loco; some are for grownups like Dobble Loop or the Barco Pirata; and others are for the entire family like the Tornado or the Simulador. The entrance cost 4,000 or you can buy a passport. There are 3 types of passport. NITRO passport that cost 35,000; PLATINUM passport that cost 30,000; and GOLDEN passport that cost 28,000.

Mundo Aventura:

This is another park for all the ages. It is divided by different worlds; the children's world, the familiar world, the extreme world and the natural world. The most known attraction of this park is the Tronquitos, it consist in a roller coaster that drops you into water so you get all wet. The natural world basically consists in a farm and a ecologic part were you can learn how to contaminate less changing some aspects in your life. The extreme world is the section of the whole park where you can find the scarriest and amazing attractions like the Black Hole or the Spider. The familiar world is where the familiar attractions are located like the Tronquitos or the Chocones. The children's world is the lace were the attractions for little kids are located such as Sillas or the Tasitas de Te. The entrance cost 3,000 but, like in Salitre Mágico, you can buy a passport. The ZAFIRO passport cost 23,300 and the RUBI passport cost 33,000.

One of the most interesting things todo, specially for girls, is shopping! Going from store to store and spending money in beautiful things is something that everyonw loves doing! Maybe some people like it more than others, bu it doesnt make it less fun. We have 4 principal shopping malls here in Bogota and we cant wait for you to meet them all.

ANDINO:

Ubicated near the 93st park, this is not such a big mall, but actually it is one of the most expensive malls in all the city. You can find really luxurious and unique items in this mall and this things you wont probably find them in other places, unless you go to other countries. If you want to go here, be sure you've got some good amount of money to spend!

UNICENTRO:

One of the most famous malls in Bogota. It is ubicated in the street 127 and it quite a big mall. Its got lots of stores and besides them its got a lot of interesting things on sale that you cant find in other places. Its got games, cinemas and a lot of things to do, so if you have nothing to do, this is the right place to go.

GRAN ESTACION:

It is probably the newest mall in the city. It is the 2nd biggest in the city and its got lots of stores that you cant find anywhere else in the city, such as the new CROCS store! This mall is also expanding, and its making GRAN ESTACION 2 which will have 3 comercial floors and 7 office floors.

SANTAFE:

The biggest mall in all the city! Its got more than 300 stores, including one of the most fun and interesting place for little kids which is Divercity. It is the perfect place to go shopping as its got all kinds of stores and also international stores! So you can come here to buy stuff of other places of the world! Its really amazing and everyone must go shopping there one day!

Events In Bogota!

There are lots of events that make Bogota more interesting in certain dates of the year. Some of this events  could be cultural an really rare, but some others are made all the years and quite interesting!

SON LAS DOCE, ES NAVIDAD (2009):

Made in the theater Colsubsidio, the musical company MISI makes this kind of christmas shows all the years for those ones who love this important party. Its full of music, dancing and all the spirit anyone can have for this days. Also with 70 people on the scenery, you can see the most elaborated dance pieces and the most beautiful made songs with different choruses. Its a show that no one can miss.

FERIA DEL HOGAR (2010):

In this fair you can find everything you need for your house, from the most amazing furniture for the luxurious homes, to the little details for your closets and even everything for your pet. This event takes place every year in Bogota more and less 2 to 4 weeks and it is made in Corferias.

FERIA DEL LIBRO (2009):

This is one of the most interesting fairs because in here you can find lots of things and information in book you cant faind anywhere or at least not so easily. You can find from the classic books for kids and adults to books you had never seen about anything you want and even coloring books! It takes place in bogota more and less 3 weeks in Corferias as well.

GREEN DAY IN BOGOTA (2010):

Sometimes in Bogota we have one really cool and important visit from one international artist, such as Metallica. This year, we will have Green Day in Bogota! It will be really amazing to see such a band of international knowledge that will come here just one night for all its fans to play in an amazingly big concert! We hope it will be alright and that lots of artists like this band will start coming to Bogota.

Sport Places In Bogota!

Bogota is the capital city of Colombia. Ubicated in the centre of the country, it is the most cultural and full of things to do city. One of the things that people in Bogota do  the most is excercise. Because of the weather, most excercise must be done in a roof covered place, but off course its always so much fun! The most popular sports in Bogota are cycling, running, swimming, playing tennis, and soccer between lots of others. But this is information that you already know, so what we are going to tell you in this blog is where to practice this sports, as there are some specialized places for each of this sports.

The 3 most famous places to do sports are Colsubsidio, Centro de Alto Rendimiento and Compensar. Each of this amazing places to do sports have their own special thing, which is why we chose to tal to you about this 3.

COLSUBSIDIO:

With more than 3 different places around the city and 3 vacation clubs all around the country, Colsubsidio is one of the best excercise places you could go to if you would like to run, cicle or making water excercices such as ski or canooing.

It has other hotels all around the country, such as peñalisa, and colsubsidio in cartagena. In this other hotels you can also have fun with sports, but in the luxury of being in vacation and of being with your friends or/and family.

CENTRO DE ALTO RENDIMIENTO:

Although there is just one place that corresponds to this, this is a very complete place to be as you can practice volleyball, basketball and also swim in 2 pools. Its the perfect place to practice sports with your family and friends.

COMPENSAR:

This is one of the most complete places in Bogota. Here you can practice basketball, volleyball, tennis, soccer, squash, swimming, running, skating and also go to the gym. Its got 3 sport places and 3 resorts out of the city.
